Over 11 years experience Scott started in 1996 working part time as a mobile DJ and on a casual basis as resident DJ for Governors tavern. Establishing Sounzgood DJ Entertainment in 1997 he moved fulltime into mobile DJing. He is a confident MC (master of ceremonies) and entertainer. He has the ability to beat mix and harmonic mix in key. He loves all styles of music and specialises as a Video Jockey (VJ) playing all types of functions using music videos.

I often go home from a performance with sore ears! Strangely enough this is not from the sound systems we use! But the screams of excitement we get from the audience! This is what I love about DJing.

Over 19 years experience Marius originally started out as a nightclub DJ in Europe. He and his family settled in New Zealand a few years ago. Working as a mobile DJ now for many years Marius was quick to learn local music including all the party classics kiwis enjoy. He is suited to all events and functions, his music knowledge and DJ skills are of the highest standard.

Over 7 years experience Philip is suitable for all event types including weddings birthdays and schools. He has great music knowledge and has the ability to beat mix giving any function a nightclub atmosphere.

I enjoy the feeling of being able to read a crowd and play the right music at the right time so they enjoy themselves and have a memorable night.

Over 5 years experience Joe has great music knowledge is a turntablist, has the ability to beat mix and holds a certificate in DJ music and production. Joe is suitable for all event types including weddings birthdays and schools, he is also experienced in Church Balls and formal events.

The atmosphere music creates is what I enjoy most.

With over 2 years experience Chris has demonstrated an incredible passion for DJing. Chris has the ability to DJ across the board, which means he is capable of any type of event. He has good music knowledge and can play various music styles to any crowd. He also is the current resident DJ at The Outback Inn in Hamilton, which is one of the biggest nightclubs in New Zealand.

Under 2 years experience Rachel has formal training in radio and is a confident MC and entertainer. With the ability to sing she heads our karaoke service and has the flexibility to perform and DJ at any event.

What makes me passionate about music and DJing? 'For me my passion for music began in my early years, the combination of the feel, and beat of the music and emotive hooks was enough to keep me hooked! DJing for me is a real rush with the element of the performance factor, speaking and communicating to the audience through the music while having the edgy challenge of keeping partygoers on that dance floor all night! And most importantly giving people a fun, memorable night!'

Technician Tim

Over 8 years experience Tim has extensive knowledge of sound systems, DJ, video and presentation equipment. He is also experienced in Martin Light Jockey and is capable of installing full intelligent lighting rigs.

Entertaining is a lifestyle, surprisingly behind the scenes can sometimes be more stressing than our DJs performing. I thrive on the challenge and sometimes demanding deadlines we are given to ensure equipment is always reliable maintained and set up on time.
